Inza Kone wins Ivorian National Prize for Excellence in Reserach

Professor Inza Kone was awarded yesterday the Ivorian National Prize for Excellence in Research. Inza is a longtime collaborator of the Taï Chimpanzee Project in its function as the Director General of the Centre Suisse de Recherche Scientifique en Côte d'Ivoire and the President of the African Primatological Society. This year he became the Director (DU) of the newly founded International Research Laboratory on Chimpanzee and Monkey Protection for Intact Cultures (IRL ChiMP4IC) financed by the CNRS Biology.
This prize recognizes his outstanding contribution to science and research on a national and international level, as well as his continuous effort to conserve and protect the Africa's forests and its primate population. This prize will shine over his future endeavors to protect the forests and wildlife in Côte d'Ivoire and will support the conservation of primates in the whole of West Africa.
